great access to parks and iconic landmarks in the city

I stayed here last month and really appreciated how close it was to fantastic spots like the Coca-Cola London Eye, which is just over 2 km away, and the vibrant atmosphere of Trafalgar Square, just about 2 km from my room, making my weekend strolls both enjoyable and convenient.

Unique architecture gives a charming character to the building, ideal for those who appreciate historical structures. The room featured a kettle and hairdryer, providing basic comfort for a short stay.

Climbing those narrow, twisting stairs to the room was a workout, especially with luggage. not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The bathroom showed some wear, with rust on towel rails and cleanliness could have been much better—hair left in the shower definitely didn't add to the experience. Sound travel was noticeable, with noise from the streets and upstairs filtering through, making it less than ideal for light sleepers.

Consider requesting extra towels ahead of time for better convenience during your stay. It really enhanced my comfort during my visit.

I enjoyed the clean and cozy Quadruple Room, and the shower was great! the cozy decor wasn't exactly as pictured. I'd definitely consider staying again for a budget trip!

The dining scene around the Mermaid Suite is a feast for the senses, with gems like Cube and Il Porcellino just a stone's throw away! Plus, the pizzeria downstairs is an absolute must-try if you fancy a slice. the friendly reception staff added a lovely touch to our stay.

For the price, you can't grumble too much.

great location close to local attractions. the twin room had a private bathroom with a shower, flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. towels were fresh daily. the rooftop spa was fantastic and added a luxurious touch. check-in was super friendly, making us feel welcomed right away.

the staff were super friendly and helpful. location could not be better, so close to oxford street! surprisingly large room for central london. aircon was good in the room too.
